Magnetic fluid is a colloidal solution in which magnetic micro-particles are dispersed in liquid. When an external magnetic field is applied, the fluid exhibits flowability. Magnetic fluid seals function like liquid O-rings, filling the gaps between rotating shafts and pole pieces.
